Just a quick one to say congratulations to Jan and the lads for the fact that it was March and we were safe! The first time in 5 years (maybe 7 depends on that year we managed to stay afloat in N1 before dropping down). Onwards and upwards fellas!

Everyone around for our last home game this week?

Trumpy, I will be expecting a beer from you at the last game of the season!
WooHoo Waterloo!

Seconded.  Should be a bumper turnout on Saturday.  Around 160 in for lunch already...
And (a little off topic I know) don't forget the Ladies play their last home game on Sunday - looking to win Championship North undefeated.  Woohoos all round!!!

Agree for a change elma praising the boys !!! although its interesting i was derided by you for suggesting loo would be back above Birkenhead park and bp would have trouble if they didn't replace their ageing squad 2 years ago. I was accused of trying to wind up birkenhead fans when in fact I said it how I saw it and what has transpired this season has proven to be an accurate prediction.

Maybe you should get a job predicting national lottery balls as well!

Hear mystic meg is on the checkout at Tesco these days!

Everyone can be lucky once, would hate to see your prediction percentage after some of the drivel you spout.

Ur just an idiot who thinks he speaks for everyone at the club and tries to censor people s opinion. Even the away fans have accused you of being the thought police. I had a right to my opinion that you tried to censor accusing me of disrespect towards BP. When I gave an honest opinion that we are all entitled to and u don't see me complaining when half the RM predicts loo to go down. They are entitled to that opinion. Your childish mystic meg response shows you as the kind of arrogant waterloo fan u claimed to not be.

Woo hoo.......... a domestic- love it!

EF, congrats on reaching safety before the final week, a great achievement ;-)
A pint is surely within my limits- and one for the real 'mystic meg' of the league- sten!

I'll be predicting a 5-2 result, will be a corker!

Ps... What have you done with the club spaniel rumbell?

Gave him to GaryOwen as a pet!

In all sincerity Gary I'm sorry you feel that way. That was never my intention to make you feel like that. i only act in what i think the best interests of the club are, no one elses. i do not speak for the club. i am not in a position of power. Just a passionate guy who enjoys his ruggers at Blundellsands and has done for many a year! Please allow me to buy you a pint on Saturday. I will inbox you how to get it.

On a side note, which horse are you picking on Saturday Gary?

Haha elma Balthazar king is my national tip although due to the said national I ll be missing the rugby match as I m working it. You ll be pleased to know not riding in it but with my day off cancelled I m in danger of a rant that will make all others about rugby pale into insignificance. I have probably stepped over the line at times with certain comments but only because I m passionate as are you. I felt that 3 seasons ago under Steve Moore there was too much looking for positives in the face of numerous defeats when at times some home truths and a kick up the proverbial might be more appropriate something which jay lo at times has said. I was forthright and honest and felt that, too much arm around the shoulder and no criticism in defeat meant a malaise set in and the team actually got worse during that season. This was my opinion rightly or wrongly. That is all in the past tho and I m hopeful for a positive future and am delighted to be able to enjoy the last few matches without the relegation battle.

4gtastic with the squad missing our most experienced winger, 1 st choice scrum half, full back, 1 second row, back row and last years captain and prop it was a credible performance given it being away on an alien surface and a narrow pitch. Losing 24-3 at half time and coming back to make a fist of it losing 37-24. You need to be careful gloating cos these things have habit of biting u on the proverbial

How's the Firwood team looking this weeks for the trip to Lymm? Should be a good competitive game either way!

Even when Burnage pressed the self destruct button and lost 2 of their best players (hooker and pack leader flanker) to injury Firwood(? I thought they were called Waterloo?) still managed to go home with nil point, 5-0 x4 makes the Burnage monkey very happy and jump up and down hoo hoo ha ha 🙈🙉🙊
