Just slipping this in now as Mose seem to be re-signing a decent proportion of their squad already, and Cov are due to announce two new lads for next season.

Only sixteen top players now then eh GA?

Grove and Preece to Cov next season. No huge surprise, all things being equal. Two quality signings IMO.

Cov have announced that Peter White, Will Maisey, and Tony Fenner have all agreed extensions to their contracts. (One, one and two years respectively).

And Ollie Thomas moves onto the 1st XV staff - somehow combining that with Oak (Mose's amateurs). Makes the coaching team for next season Protherough, Molenaar, Thomas thus far. Which, to be honest, is much better than I thought it was going to be!

Brilliant, brilliant news that Tim's signed on again, he makes a real difference for us.

Agree - a good move. Ollie has gained good experience in coaching with Moseley Oak....couldn't get much of a better coaching mentor than John White who is Oak's head coach. Proth also coached there last season.

I suspect combining 1st XV coaching with player/coach duties at Oak will be do-able as they train on different nights.

Excellent signing, but I prefer Kaspersky myself.

Happy to see the retentions too.

I know this one.  It's from some bloke called Millichip.  I know this because someone from Fylde with a massive chip on his shoulder and absolutely zero evidence or justification has repeated this 'fact' ad nauseum. Wink

Mauler - genuine answer; I don't know. I'm nearly 100% confident it's not Chris Millerchip though (who seems to have divested himself of any pecuniary connection with the club, having passed the remaining ground lease to Sharpy, and is living in splendid retirement in New York).
