Bournemouth very open about their promotion aims this season. Have they retained everyone from last year do you know?

Not heard anything about Ben one way or the other 'TJOL7'. it was a shame that he missed most of last season through injury. I do hope he is staying with us as he is still a top player.
EDIT: I have been informed that Ben is still on Barum's books so hopefully he will be playing this season.

I am not expecting us to get back to N2 this season Raider, as previously mentioned I think it could be a re-grouping season - just hoping we can hold our own in the SW premier.
I will miss seeing Level 4 rugby at Pottington Rd though that's for sure.

Yes, I am sure we all know that but maybe it shows some sort of tie up with the chiefs. Sorry if such 'mutterings' upsets you Wink

Yes, if I remember rightly Hartbury were almost unbeatable on there way up to L4.
Looking at The Exeter Uni web site it seems as if they are closely tied up with Exeter Braves and supplied several players to the Exeter 7's side recently. I remember a time when they were one of the top teams in the country (then called St Luke's).

BM, have any of your players followed your coach to Exmouth? Nothing on the signings front from them yet either.

Not that I know of MaidsBoy, One to Taunton, One to Newton Abbot and two to Okehampton that I know of. Not sure about Jarrad <span ="st">Hayler</span> (top player) but think he may have been posted away from the local Marine base.

Yes, I saw one had gone to Newton Abbott. Does anyone know if Matt Jess will still be playing for them next year? Or will he be there purely as a coach? If the former, then they look set to have a very impressive back line.

I don't know if Matt Jess is playing for them this season Maids - he seems to be expanding his coaching set-up so maybe not, are there any NAB's fans on here to confirm?
On a side note <span ="st"="">Camborne could be in the mix this season with </span><span ="st"=""><span ="st"="">Lewis Vinnicombe</span> and Ducker coming in from Redruth, not sure if they have made any other signings but according to a post on another forum there could be a bit of cash being splashed about down there. </span>

I think it’s going to be another very tight league, and can’t see a runaway leader like Dings last year. Camborne have made a couple of great additions in the back line, but have also lost Westlake, Bournemouth will be aiming to go one better this season, Newton Abbott have made some good signings, in particular, Tom Putt. At Maids, we’re very happy with the additions we’ve made and hope to improve upon our 3rd place finish last season, whilst Exeter Uni, with their close links to Chiefs, could be dark horses.

I was wondering if Exeter Uni are going to be another Hartbury (who were at level 6 about 6 years ago and Championship now). I guess it depends if they will be confined to Uni students or become closer still to the Exeter Chiefs.

Exeter Chiefs have links with Plymouth don"t they.
