Hello TT, got fed up with being a nuisance on the National 1 Board so decided to have a go on the National 2 Board, have you? I don’t know the player you mention but all the ones I know are very happy, tired from the fitness demands, but there is certainly no sign of a player revolt from those training regularly. Remember I live nearer than you! Yes, Cam Zeiss has left, Paul Roberts has retired and is coaching. Why Stephen Boatman left I don’t know, the route was open to a full season at 10 in the team but Wimbledon a level lower must be more attractive.

As to the coaching team, as well as Peter Winterbottom we also have Chris Wilkins who has an outstanding playing abc coaching record. Chris Kibble has also returned from Blackheath. Those 3 plus Tom Cheeseman, Paul Roberts and Ollie Marriott give us some strength in that area.

Now please go back to National 1!

apparently winterbottom is absolutely clueless and bringing drills out from the eighties - he has just left uni and is shocked by standard of coaching says its embarrrsiging

they are worried they will get relegated again player revolt on cards

have lost cam zeizz the policeman prop england counties and rhod tanner gone to moseley and paul roberts retired and boatman to wimbledon wow oh wow

Agreed. But there must've been enough close-season signings hereabouts to warrant a '2019/20 signings' type thread.
Surely?

I think Nat 2 is a bit different. Clubs with stable squads, player loyalty, club loyalty.  To see the number of new signings that some clubs make in the higher leagues is bewildering. They need to build a new spirit each season.

mmmmm.... according to statbunker he has played a total of 72 minutes for Nottingham.

Jimmy Lloyd a much more positive signing IMHO

Other than the fact we've signed JJ, I know sweet FA else about him. Hoping to find out some more this week at the EGM meeting. What's his preferred position?

JJ is the only new signing I've heard about so far, any info on Jimmy Lloyd?

JJ Broberg is a hooker was one of the Notts Trent Uni lads who also had a contract with Nottingham benched for us a couple of times as cover for injuries cannot tell you great deal more

JJ was a big part of the Nottingham Trent University side for the last few years, playing the majority of game sitting under Jake Farnworth, who did spend most of his time playing for Nottingham. He was indeed registered to Nottingham and did train with them however.
