Tough 4pts at ensians today. Conditions were dreadful for most of 2nd half. Should have been 5pts after red failed to award a penalty try after aprox 9 scrums on the barnstaple line were collapsed or stood up. Strange as the Barnstaplelose-head was binned after their final warning for dropping another scrum?

Anyway we had good news before match that league has awarded us the 5pts for the abandoned match vs Pats. One less game to have to squeeze in.

I also have to add that Barnstaple are a really good team who are much improved this season. They play with allot of spirit and are defiantly on the up.

I second that good outfit!

Not sure about the coaches comment about if it was a dry day they would have the advantage as Ensians backs look pretty sharpe ;)

(speaking as an Ensians back lol)

Yep you sure do have to ignore him, I think the point he was trying to make, was you stood more of a chance of beating them if you move the pack around. I think grasping at straws is what I would make of it!

Glad we performed well, from inside the camp sounds like we were struggling with injuries and unavailabilty upfront but still performed credibly. Not to take anything from Reds who we have still failed to beat after four years back at this level!

Good news about this weekend, our double header has been cancelled, they have moved our County cup game back, which has upset our Exmouth Friends!
