20+ coaches on shedloads of money get their heads together and decide on the tactics of hoof it up in the air and chase it (and they probably think its going to win us a World Cup)
If you play "lottery ball" every week sometimes you will lose
Naive "Third World" tactics that will get us nowhere

Funny old game, innit? Wink

Well done Wales, deserved win.

Showed how recent form is over-rated as a guide (20-point win? Yeah right!) & it's performance on the day that's most important. England were never the awesome world-beaters we'd been hailed as after Rd 1, but are still RWC contenders. Could win the 6N too if Ireland turn up in Cardiff. We may be resuming relations with our Welsh chums in Japan in October.

Cracking intensity in the game today. Sure the players will be sore for the next few days.
"We're not talking ourselves up. There's a long way before that comes." Smart man Gatland.

Oh dear how pathetic was that second half from England.
Note to team, rugby games have two halves.
Giving away twice as many penalties wrecks any game plan
If your kicking game isn't working, CHANGE IT.
What were Slade and Tuilagi doing all game ?
Good that the wake up call came today and not in Japan, but will they listen ?
Well done to Wales - proper win and well deserved
Come on Jersey........

think all points nailed in that summary. very disappointed with our 2nd half showing. Wales just seemed to want it more which for me is unforgivable.

Well done to Wales an incredible level of intensity and they managed to stifle England.

England were no where near to the performance away in Ireland. The key message to the England is how much work there is to do in preparation for the World Cup.

A well deserved win to Wales.
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.

Ireland today were almost as bad as England yesterday - just found the Get Out Of Jail Free card when they needed it.

Championship nicely poised:
  1. Wal 12
  2. Eng 10
  3. Ire 9
  4. Fra 6
  5. Sco 5
  6. Ita 0
Only the poor Italians (20 straight defeats) are entirely out of title contention...

As a Welsh chum commented:

"Unfortunately England need to think during a game."

Rugby a game played with the top 2 inches; and sadly yet again England played like automatons. Got 9/5 on a Wales win though, so not all bad.
