Your definition of "3 reasonable mens teams" is rather subjective Camquin. Of course, past reputation counts for nothing and Waterloo has no divine right to be regarded as one of the main forces in NW rugby (that ship sailed long ago) but my point is that they should be playing at a level higher than clubs like (no disrespect) Lymm, Kendal, Vale of Lune, Wirral, Sandal to name but a few. Do these clubs really have larger resources or potential resources than Waterloo? High up, clubs like Wharfedale and Fylde continue to compete in the National set up.

The majority of those teams you named have excellent youth set up which feed their teams. Lymm were pushing for promotion last year, sandal were in the league above not long ago. This a post of a moron out of touch with national league rugby.

Now now , play nicely boys . I have to say I feel the standard in N1W is a lot higher than 4-5 years ago when Saints last played at this level . Our head coach took Wirral through this league and into the North Premier where they were pipped by Hinckley in the last minutes to lose the play off into Nat 2, he confirms the standard now from then is sizeable so I don't think it's any disgrace for Waterloo to be competing at this level .

how long do you think the ladies team will stay in the premiership ,? with Sale starting a ladies team,do you think the lure of ££££ will entice any .As they will no doubt raid local clubs for players.Very interesting discussion over their use of DRs and loan players it's obvious they don't care about upsetting people.
was told ,at the end of 16/17 we will not see you next season but we will the one after .think not otley

My apologies I forgot about wirrals achievements, however the DNA of these clubs remain the same. I've seen rumbles posts over the years and I doubt anyone at Waterloo even knew him. Out yourself boy

The Jackal - well apparently Waterloo have an "excellent youth set up" - everyone has been posting how successful it is on here for weeks so I think you are the one out of touch b@llend.

Would he be saying that due to the perilous position of his charges?
It’s quite clear to most watchers that the standards of play have slipped dramatically from what they were

Rumble, I’m not too bothered about Waterloo they’re not my club. They shouldn’t be yours either. Your posts are boorish now. I get the impression your the type who’s dad played for them in their hay day and you didn’t make the cut a grudge against them. I’m annoyed you have be littled the clubs you have mentioned who Have their ups and downs if you look at the league tables. They don’t have many winy b*tches like you ranting on about them on a national forum. I’m pretty sure you were moaning when loo were 4th in the league above.

The Jackal - well if you are not that bothered about Waterloo then why are you on the Waterloo thread?!!! You must be a right loner.

Elma - am I bothered? I couldn't care less - all I know is that Waterloo is a sinking ship. I am entitled to share the same opinion as many of the other former players at the club.

You post more than I do...

I’m not getting into an argument with you as you are clearly an idiot and I’ll get dragged down to your level and eventually lose

Good day to you rumble, I hope you find a hobby or some fulfilment in life. There’s a great big world outside your mothers basement

Poor old Rumble ! Full of contradictions and clearly not a happy bunny....

Perhaps he was amongst those who ‘ welcomed ‘ us when we were last over : regrettably, with a couple of notable individual exceptions, the least welcoming club we played away that year.

This is strictly my own, personal view.

I can assure you I am very content in life. There are far more important things in life than the performance of your local rugby club but, equally, the whole purpose of a forum is to exchange views. Sadly, Jackal has jackal to contribute so suggest he joins a tiddlywinks forum.

PristineShorts - what contradictions are you referring to?!!!

I have not been down so I won't have been there to welcome you.

“Far more important things In life” you don’t shut up about a club you don’t support or watch anymore. There’s a contradiction for you

Its not a contradiction at all - it's an opinion (which is shared) on a club that I used to play for and follow. Jackal you better not be spending too much time on the messageboard during work or your boss may fire you.
