Good luck to anselmians, the website along with northwich's is certainly impressive. I'm going to be keeping an eye on both their results aswell as park though I can't see loo up at the top by Christmas.
Will wirral fall apart in the league above let's hope not . Will chester improve and can Caldy against the odds cement themselves in the league above.
There certainly seems to be a pyramid developing in West of cheshire and plenty of good rugby to look forward to.

So the profits from the land sale can be used for what exactly?

And if no money is being spent on players where does the ambition come from?

Terrible news about the Cleckheaton player Max Blakeley who passed away whilst playing league yesterday. No age at 32, can't imagine... condolences to his family & friends, don't know the league team but thoughts to Cleck, a terrific club.

Its a planning condition that none of the land sale funds finds it's way into the club and a policy that will be closely monitored by the local authority on an open book basis . The sponsorship money raised is no different than any other club up and down the land it's used for rugby throughout the club - Kits , players clothing before and after games, coaching , transport, mini and junior requirements  not players wages, next season will be difficult as we have no home and bar revenue as fixtures will be played at a local club with no call on revenue .
Unfortunately I think the uninformed see us as an undesirable club thankfully not the players who have decided they want to be part of the journey , to the contrary we are ambitious and fortuitous that we had forefathers who had the vision to buy the land on which we operate and not lease it like so many others .
your proberbly thought undesirable because you have attracted players while other clubs cannot .Will be some very interesting local derbys.
was told ,at the end of 16/17 we will not see you next season but we will the one after .think not otley

going to be twice as hard for Caldy this season mid table would be immense.Wirral where in freefall end of last season with player and coach losses cannot see anything changing.Without an influx of quality players Park mid table with Loo.

If park and anselmians are loosening the purse strings it leaves wirral in a predicament in the league above especially without a coach.

From the web site,  Alsemians are playing at Vauxhall Sports and Social Club - so I guess will be using their facilities.  I assume they will be using the grass pitch as the all weather is probably set up for the round ball code.

The profits from the land sale can be used solely for grading of the existing pitches to Sport England standard and the installation of new training floodlights along with the building of a new clubhouse with 150 car parking spaces .
The ambition comes from within and the future, playing from facilities that will rank amongst the best in the North West . Anselmians did have a fine season last year at level 7 convincingly beating the much fancied Aspatria in the play off .

A bit off-topic I'm afraid but I'm looking for a bit of advice.

My son is hoping to start at Liverpool University in September and is thinking of playing club rugby. He's played L6 in Devon so what L6/7 clubs are there that aren't too far from central Liverpool?

A short trip through the tunnel will find Anselmians at 6 with  Birkenhead Park at  6 and Wirral rugby club at 5 . Have a look on the websites of the teams and see which you feel is the best match for your son .

A young 1st/2nd team squad at Waterloo so he'd fit right in, plus the train to Crosby/blundellsands stops at the end of the road.

Liverpool being a city has public transport - so getting to a club, even one on the Wirral, may be a lot easier than getting around in Devon.
