Probably not today but could be a few off tomorrow. Having just returned from Well Hall Blackheath v Cambridge should be okay as it’s finethis morning but wet.

I believe there will be a formal inspection on Saturday morning before Cambridge leave - it is not as though we have far to come.  But with the forecast as it is I expect it to be on - but fans like me may want to bring the wooly hat.

Currently Camquin there is no need it will only be if we get a dramatic change in weather forecast. As soon as the rain stops it will start to dry out as there was a good drainage system put on when the pitch was relayed

There is a pitch inspection at Chinnor this afternoon. The pitch is currently covered in snow with no real thaw happening so far today.

Having checked the regulations I cannot see anything about RFU payments for travelling to re arranged games, do they pay an additional subsidy or is is totally up to the club to cover the additional cost which is not insubstantial for long distance travel either by coach or train, tickets which are normally cheap bought 12 weeks in advance are  discounted  but within 2 weeks are full retail price more than doubling the travel cost.
The other point I looked for is regulations where the pitch is fit (usually an all weather pitch) but the away team are unable to travel due to the road conditions or train cancellations.
Does any one know what the answers are?

It is in the NCA admnistrative instructions.
However, as I read it, assuming Ampthill followed protocol you apply to the RFU who have a fund and you may get today's travel back. It does not seem to let you claim the extra costs for the rearranged travel.
But I suppose you could discuss and submit those invoices.

If the home club fails to follow protocol - they pay. Again the regulation talk about the costs of that days travel.

In the case as travel disruption, the travelling club must inform the home club and the NCA Secretary as soon as possible.

Do Caldy book all their train travel 12 weeks in advance?
