Having watched on SKY, I think Karl Dickson is an excellent ref but IMHO got both turnover decisions wrong. The LS flanker was in at the side for the first turnover and off his feet for the second! In conclusion I think both sides made unforced errors, that were maybe due to it being a derby!
Run with it

Tough game at the Mennaye. I thought the pivotal point was the superb Pirates defence of their line early in the second half.   Could have gone either way at that point. Good weekend though, love the Cornish Ale; Proper Job, Tribute, Betty Stoggs, wonderful.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend in Kernow, Cricks. Bedford are a very impressive team, especially in the backs, and caused us all kinds of problems. As you say, our defence was immense, and probably gave us the edge. We also finished strongly, and closed out the game efficiently - which hasn't been our strong point in the past! Did you have a pasty?

got to admit I have never been to the Mennaye, would like to go one day. Sounds like a good away trip. I've been to Roth, Nottingham (Meadow Lane), Leeds and LS for away days. enjoyed all of them. enjoyed the RAG in particular, nice ground with good views of the pitch. have to admit I prefer an away day in the Championship than going to Twickenham, more knowledgeable supporters who are there to enjoy the game and not just there "to be seen".

The Mennaye is recommended - one of my favourites. . Glad you enjoyed the RAG, decent pubs close at hand as well. 🍺

Definitely make a trip to The Mennaye, I know I'm biased, but it's lovely old ground with a unique atmosphere. Mounts Bay is one of the most beautiful places in the world in my humble opinion.

Jersey/Nottingham game must have been a tough affair - Auguy Slowic has just tweeted this:
Finally home from the Nottingham game. 5 days spent in ICU with a fractured sternum, 3 dislocated ribs and a dislocated shoulder.. time to mend #Union #Ohidoloveplayingaway
